Meet the Founders
Emma Kim
Emma is a senior at Trinity Preparatory School. She is a staff member of the school newspaper and is also a member of NHS, Art Club, and the forensics team. In her free time, she enjoys drawing and reading webtoons.
Shraddha Bhatia
Shraddha is a Mathematical Economic Analysis and Political Science major at Rice University. She coaches extemporaneous and impromptu speaking and is a Forté Campus Ambassador. She enjoys photography, hip hop, and Kathak, an Indian classical dance, in her free time.
Our Story
As high school students, we know schools tend to emphasize the memorization of facts to pass tests rather than the development of a thorough understanding of material. However, we decided that we wanted to change this. Thus, Study City was born, a platform where students’ understanding of material is prioritized through highly personalized study plans that are centered on their needs.
